La Piazza Courtyard & Lounge

La Piazza is my new favourite spot to go to in Manotick. The food is great the pasta is very fresh and you can tell that the gnhocci is homemade. All the sauces are fresh and homemade and clearly I'm not the only one that thinks this place is fantastic. We went because of the reviews and were not disappointed at all. The owner was there when we arrived, he greeted us warmly and helped us select a great bottle of wine, from his familys vineyard in Italy. Now that's authentic Italian, the wine was great, the food was out of this world and the service was very good. A must try if you are in Manotick.

Bellissimo, Fantastico, YumYum

This was our first time at La Piazza, it came highly recommended by some friends of ours that live in the neighborhood so they suggested that we join them for dinner. We arrived earlier for our reservation and they still accomodated us even thought the place was very busy. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the specials and the menu and wine list. We ordered and our food came fresh, flavorful and in just perfect timing. I was very impressed with the overall dining experience and will likely come back here, I'll certainly let others know about it too.

Great for an event

There's several restaurants to choose from in Manotick but this one is by far the best, especially if you are holding an event. They are very organized and willing to accomodate all requests. The food is amazing, I can't say enough good things about it - everything from the appetizers to the main course to dessert is wonderful and I'm never disappointed. I take my staff here every Christmas and have already booked again for next year. They get busier every time we come but the service, the ambience and the way we're always warmly greeted keeps us coming back.

First time but won't be the last

What a fun evening we had at this restaurant last Saturday, the place is certainly popular and I can completely understand why. We had an amazing meal, I took my grandmother for her birthday (she's in her 70's and very old school Italian) she thought the meal was exceptional. When the owner found out that she's from the same region as his family they spent the entire night reminiscing about all the old customs and great family atmosphere that he's trying to emulate at his restaurant. We all think the family is doing a great job with this place and can't wait to go again.

Manacotti Heaven

What a great restaurant; we went on Friday night and had fantastic meal with my wife and kids. My wife loves this place, the pasta is great and the service is always good. Speaking to the owner and found out that they offer cooking classes. The chef is amazing so my wife has signed up, can't wait to see if she can replicate these dishes at home....still won't stop me from coming back to dine though. Always a good night out.
