    Outstanding food and service

    La Piazza is a classico of Ottawas Italian restaurants. Always good food and excellent wine list, crisp service and that Italian feel that is so hard to find anywhere but Italy. I have been going to La Piazza for the last 2 years and I never had a bad dinner. Outstanding food and service.

    Simply amazing

    Over the last couple of months we have had more than a few meals here and we were never disappointed. The food served is of exceptional quality and the portions are generous. The veal is so good I cannot resist it almost every time, same goes for the rack of lamb. The pasta specials are authentic, the appetizers are delicious. The wine list extensive and well priced. If you love Italian food La Piazza is a must. The owner is usually there and he's a lot of fun, always wants to make sure everyone's having a good time.

    Fabulous Service

    The service was excellent and the waiters were attentive without being overbearing. The owner made sure to come by our table to welcome us as it was our first time to the restaurant. The restaurant had a nice light atmosphere and the food was delicious. Good for families or dates.

    Very nice restaurant!

    My daughter and I went for dinner on a Friday night. She has been numerous times and loved it. Yes, the place was full and I know why. Yes, the seating is pretty close but actually it didn't seem that bad when you were talking with your guest. Enjoyed a very relaxing dinner. The food was delicious and the great thing is we were never rushed thru like some places do. The server was excellent and so was the service. Can't wait to return and try their lunch menu.

    Went for a drink couldn't resist the dinner

    My husband and I found this little gem on the weekend when we decided to stop for a glass of wine. While we were there we simply couldn't resist trying some of the delicious smelling food. We opted for a couple of appetizers and split a main course; I'd recommend everything that we ordered. The caprese salad was delicious, the zucchini sticks were crunchy and were coated in an amazingly light crispy batter. For the main course we shared the cannelloni; the pasta was perfectly cooked, the filling light and fluffy. We had great service and a wonderful evening, what a pleasant surprise.
