    Amazing food and wine

    This quiet little place has grown in stature since opening, but the food and wine have been excellent from day one. Run by a friendly husband and wife team, the food is very traditional Italian...wonderful fish, pasta, and vegetables. Definitely try some of the proprietary wine...we let Frank, the owner, make suggestions and have loved every bottle. La Piazza is a not to be missed treat...one of my top five in Ontario!

    Our beautiful daughter-in-law who is Italian told us that this restaurant reminds her of her grandmother's wonderful homemade pastas and etc, etc, so we were excited about going and had a great experience. It is a lovely restaurant -- the ambience captures the feeling of quiet delightful expectancy -the lovely italian music plays in the background -- and the Italian flavored decor is soothing and comfortable in an understated elegance. We loved the food -- we traded tastings among our party of 5 and appreciated the qualities of the fresh homemadeness of the pastas and sauces that laced through the tender meats, exquisite cheeses and luscious olive oils. It was a memorable meal much enjoyed.

    Good Times

    A friend of ours held a birthday party here on the weekend, we thought it would be the usual mundane Italian place; we were very pleasantly surprised. The service was fantastic, our waiter was really knowlegeable and professional. Our food was truly some of the best that we'd had in a very long time, the portion sizes were huge and their wine list was great. We had a wonderful time, I can't wait to come back and have a second round of their ghocchi

    Fantastic!!!!!

    A group of us came here yesterday, it was pouring, but we wanted to make sure that we supported the local community for Dickinson Days. We had a fantastic evening; the food was great, some of the best pasta and freshest sauce I've had in forever. They had several wonderful bands playing on the stage throughout the evening. We'll come back again on a quiter night - but we still had an amazing time.

    Very Busy; great service

    Visited this bustling Italian restaurant on the weekend. The weather was beautiful so we took advantage of their outdoor patio. Everything that we ordered was cooked to perfection; the service was second to none and it was really, really, busy. Nothing was missed, the food was truly beautiful, flavorful and lots of it. This restaurant is not to be missed, I commend them on a meal service well done!!!
