NOT true italian. Very disapointed. Food was bad, no taste, very pricey and atmosphere dark inside. Young girl server was fine, the cook did not do justice to Italian food, too much sauce on plated items which means a cover up. Veal was grey and hard. Pasta dishes no taste. Establishement bathrooms dirty floor, baseboards, smell. I would have preferred the Owner to have done his job instead of a young assistant manager when we complained about the food. Actually, should have been on the house, the meal. If you want good food in Manotick, I highly recommend the Black Dog on Main or good Italian on Preston street in Ottawa. For travellers, you can verify under City of Ottawa, under Inspections, the restaurants reports. I give a 0 but this star system does not give it. So, 1 star.
