I went with a group and were served several of their specialties one after the other. The food was incredibly good, I thought I was back in Italy! Service was excellent. I highly recommend that surprising little restaurant and I will plan my next birthday at their new location on Laurier.

Visited more times than I should have. The service is consistently bad. Either the waitress recommend daily specials that doesn't exist in the kitchen, or deliver the dishes that we did not order...The pasta are extremely salty. The pizza are okay. The desserts (from the kitchen) are pretty good. The pastry could be stale.

Even if named sna...

Even if named snackbar, this place flirts with gastronomy, high-end style. Yes, it's very homy where ine can irder wood iven pizzas, but Erik Mandracchia, the chef, knows how to surprise his guests by making exceptional italian dishes. Mozarella served on "pain brioché" as well as pasta that will make your sorrows melt away!

Eat your greens! Montreal’s best salads

Fiorellino may be known for their pizzas and house-made pasta but don’t ignore one of their most popular dishes on the menu, the raw mushroom salad. Yes, we said raw mushrooms. But this dish is simplicity at its best. Shaved king oyster mushrooms are served with shards of salty Parmesan cheese and a fresh gremolata. The fresh ground black pepper adds a nice subtle kick of heat, and the pungent Italian olive oil really stood out.

Celebrate Pizza Week 2017 in Montreal

Four friends with a unique dream decided to take a chance and open this snack-bar type restaurant downtown. You could say this place has earned its recognition – they won a Grands Prix du Design award in early 2017 and are known for their friendly nature. Fiorellino serves 15 pizzas, including the Carciofi (ham, artichokes, olives, mushrooms) and the Mortadella (with mortadella, provolone, ricotta and pistachio pesto).

Montreal’s best first date spots to start something special

Montreal’s best first date spots to start something special

This Italian snack bar is a pizza haven and casual Italian eatery that will wow your date. Their squash carpaccio dish with pickled chillies, homemade crème fraiche and candied nuts is out of this world. Their porchetta with pistachios and tuna mayo is the perfect summer dish, and their ricotta gnocchi melt in your mouth. They make their pizza with love, in their wood burning pizza oven, and the ambiance is relaxed, as your date should be!
