I am a big foodie and indian food is at the top of my list. Spice11 is one of the best indian i have been to so far. Their food is authentic indian and comparatively superior interms of quality, taste and price. I also care about decor therefore i could not help but admire the beautiful interior that complemented the theme of the restaurant. Our server was very friendly and attentive throughtout the meal. Overall the experience was fantastic!! Looking forward to going again!!!
Really great Chicken Vindaloo. Very friendly prompt service. The naan bread is perfect and the rice is exceptionally good...I do not know what they did to it however it is the best I have had. Definitely going back soon and recommending to friends. Will have Chicken Tikka Masala or Dansak
Great place to eat! they add some spice to downtown Guelph..The portions are more than enough and sometimes two people can share one meal if they get some appetizers as well..We came once for lunch and we were impressed with the food and also with the welcoming staff..so we decided to try it again and we were not disappointed ever since!!!
After reading all these raving 5 stars reviews posted on this site, I decided to visit this restaurant while i was staying in Guelph. It could be just me for not liking the food and service compared to other restaurants in town, but others offered way better service and their rating compared to this were very low. The dish I had, lamb dunsak was watery and tasteless and lamb seemed boiled separately and added to the base, means eating a piece of lamb would not give you a taste of spices at all. My lentil soup tasted same as dunsak. I came back to my hotel and start reading these reviews, while paying close attention; it seems that they are coming from the same person but under different names. A customer like me would fall for this only once, and would not recommend anyone to go there.
We have been to Spice 11 several times and have always had a great experience. Each visit, I usually try something different on the menu and thankfully will have several more visits before I can get through the entire menu. The food is exceptional, service attentive, location is perfect and the meal is always good value. This is one of the first Indian restaurants that I tried and the only one I have returned to. It is worth the drive from Kitchener.
