It's 1967. Most Montrealers have their first passport in hand, their entry into Expo '67. The Olympic stadium has not been built, the NHL has only six teams, and Toronto won the Stanley Cup. The Champlain Bridge, the subway and the Turcot Interchange are brand new. New homes are sprouting up in the suburbs.
With his car's trunk filled with samples, Pierre Cholette is making a living dressing the windows of his client's homes in the South Shore. He loves his job and his small business is developing rapidly, soon to be Draperies Pierre Cholette.
