Sole' Restaurant and Wine Bar is situated in a 150 year old Seagram's building, minutes west of the Waterloo Uptown Core. The interior soars two stories high to a timber frame ceiling, exposed brick and generous wood finishes, set the tone for an elegant yet casual experience. The menu will transport your palate to the Mediterranean. Items ranging from thin crust pizza, pastas, vegetarian entrees, steaks, to rack of lamb will satisfy any appetite. Sole is a 'niche' restaurant. Our service was not friendly and very insincere. The food is very good but we found the portions quite small for the money. This restaurant seems to cater to the elite.
