Although the food at the Duke isn't the best and the service might not be the greatest at times, for a pub this place is great. They have a good selection of beer and a nice atmosphere to enjoy a nice pint and a bite to eat.

Like being in a day care; screaming children the...

Like being in a day care; screaming children the entire time, servers seemed to personally know the parents, yet did not ask them to control their children. Two of us had finished main courses before the last person was served, meanwhile countless main courses passed by our table. Dreadful experience.

The whole family loves The Duke. I don't recall the price of the breakfast, but it was cheap. The service is usually great since the girls are always travelling back and forth from the bar to the kitchen, they always treat us well. ...although there is one cranky bartender, but I can chalk that up as "British Pub". :)

Especially on the St. Patty's Day weekend, with the pub buzzing, there's no place I'd rather be. The prices are fair and the atmosphere is spot on.

I have been going to the restaurant for 15 years...

I have been going to the restaurant for 15 years now... and steady for the last 5 years. I would go for the wings/pitchers deal on tuesday most often. they bumped it up from 8.99 a pitcher to 9.99 awhile back. but feb 12, 2008's bill for 3 orders of wings and a pitcher was 21.35+tip (not bad). the same bill was just under $30 last week. (feb 19, 2008) wings are $4 a pound and pitchers are $12... where is the deal there? The food isn't the greatest, and the service is usually good. but a 25-30% increase in food costs make this the last visit from us. Sorry Duke... I guess I'll take my $1200+/year dining out I would spend on you elsewhere.
