We ordered take out. The food was horrible. We each took a couple of bites and the rest went into the garbage. I don't think the chicken in the Chicken Fried Rice was cooked all the way - it just didn't look right, or taste right for that matter. This was the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten! Even the spring rolls had a soapy after taste.
absolutely love this place, i come here all the time for some really fast take out! it's really cheap. simply the best!
I ordered takeout, and it came reasonably fast. The man that brought my food was really nice. When I opened my meal everything was there and I ordered a lot more then I expected to get. I started eating and the food was alright, greasy, but chinese food is most of the time. As I was eating I noticed a carrot with some green on it, I took a closer look and the green turned out to be MOLD! No joke, I wish I could up load picture onto this site. I then called the restaurant to tell them about my special surprise and the woman did nothing. She didn't bother to give me even a discount or offer anything. Actually, she didn't even sound surprised about the moldy carrot. Please, do yourself a favor and do not risk going to this restaurant or ordering from there. I only found a few chunks of carrot in my food, the rest of that moldy carrot is in others food or still in the kitchen.
As far as chinese food goes, we all know that REAL chinese food isn't found outside of Canada, it's all battered and fried here in north america. While it doesn't stray far from this trend at China Chopsticks, the quality of the ingredients they use almost completely makes up for it. The menu is enormous, easily satisfying any appetite you may have. Lunch specials are even better, offering a VERY cheap meal, but not compensating for it by offering smaller portions. Aside from the fried and battered items on the menu, there are some very tasty and nicely spiced options. The steak, grilled chicken and shrimp dishes are all very flavourful. My only concern is that they will drive away customers with their overly greasy and oily fried dishes. These may be acceptable down at the local mall, but quality is much preferred over quantity, especially in upper oakville. Cut down on the grease and even cut down on the portion sizes. I don't think I've ever actually finished a lunch or dinner I've ordered from them.
This is by far the best chinese food i've had.. the delivery service was quick, the lady that answered the phone was very helpful and kind. The food was delicious, I asked for the egg noodles spicy, it was just enough heat and crunchy on the bottom. i would have given the food a 10 rating but the vegetable spring rolls were not very good, very thin (nothing inside) and had a strange after taste.

When this restaurant first opened I was impressed with the food. They had always given me large portions and it was always fresh and hot. I have been going as a regular customer and brining my friends. I am finding the food these days not fresh at all. The portion size is getting smaller and so is the amount of meat in the dish. The food is warm and at times the noodles are slightly burned. I also found a hair in my dish the other day. I have not complained or said anything if I did they would probably argue with me. I had another experience where I was misunderstood and was given 2 dishes instead of 1 dish when I spoke up the person argued with me and I had to buy both dishes even though we ended up taking home the other dish and then throwing it away the next day. I am not coming back they have lost my business. I was at least spending close to $100.00 a month on eating at this establishment. If they don't change their service they will lose many customers. I think they feel secure now because of all the business they are getting so they don't care like before. This is a very bad way of thinking if you are to run a successful business.
Each and every item is made on the premises. You are assured that there is No MSG. They custom make any item on the menu with any personal changes you request. We have always loved the food. Even the extended family (Ages 3 to 67) found great food that everyone loved. You can dine in, take-out or have it delivered. The serving sizes are large and delicious. We Will Be Back!
The food is very good here. Authentic Chinese food prepared to order. They will make anything you want and as spicy as you want it. The owners and staff are very polite and the service is very good, even when they are busy. We will return. The restaurant offers table service, take-out and delivery. We will definately be back.
