They were really busy, but very efficient. Definitely need some space inside for patrons to wait at, it looks busier than it is. Food was tasty, and they serve tea or coffee for one with a large tea pot or carafe so that you don't need to ask for refills.

My family has been dining at this restaurant for years. If you are expecting fine dining, this is not the place for you. You won't get sterling silver tea service, nor will you get waiters in starched shirts. What you will get though, is food that tastes out of this world and staff that makes you feel like a long lost friend.
The portions are HUGE, and dripping fat. YUMMY! Not for those on a diet or clogged arteries.
We make a point of stopping here every time we go to Niagara Falls, and my husband insists we make the drive a couple times a year just so he can get his "fix",
I almost always order the ET, and it is only unavailable later in the evening.
Wear loose pants and comfortable shoes. You will need to walk off the portion when you are done.
The is NOT a 5 star, fine dining, vegetarian friendly restaurant. It's a diner, with greasy diner food. Period. The portions are big, the price is great, the food is always consistent. The service is usually pretty good, but it is a very popular place, and when it's busy, sometimes you have to wait a bit longer. It's also by far our favourite family restaurant. We eat there every time we visit Niagara Falls.

My family visited Niagara for the very first time this year , We came across the Saucer because we were staying on Lundy lane , On our first day we had breakfast at the Flying Saucer and may I add the staff was fast and friendly , The food was delicious and the coffee was the best I have had , We loved the Flying Saucer so much we decided on our last nite that we would have dinner there , May I add the food was nothing short of spectacular , The staff again was very courteous . My family really enjoyed our visit and plan to visit again soon and the Flying Saucer will be our first choice ...
