    Worst Experience Ever

    I went here to get my face waxed and I honestly had the worst experience ever. I asked them to be gentle since I have extremely sensitive skin and the lady said dont worry, we'll do it nicely. She did it very roughly and even caused me to bleed. Not only that, but after this experience, I had pimples all over my face and I never scratched them or touched them even and they are still not gone. I regret going there and I recommend everyone else not to go either. The staff is extremely rude and don't put their heart into what they are doing at all. I dont know if all velvet salons are like this but this location has the worst staff ever. DONT GO!

    Terrible Customer Service!!!

    I've been to Velvet Salon and Spa a couple of times just to do eyebrows & very few of their ladies do it well. The main reason I extremely dislike it is because I have never witnessed them being nice and friendly to any customers and they a lot of attitude. I only went there today after a very long time because of a coupon that I received and honestly it was horrible as always! I am honestly never going back to that place even if I receive coupons & I strongly suggest that no one else should go there too! They're extremely rude, disrespectful and they give you those dirty looks. I know its just a salon but that doesn't mean you don't treat people with kindness and respect. I honestly made this account just to inform people about how horrible their customer service is. So basically for anyone that is even thinking of going there, DON'T, its not worth it (even if you get their coupons) & it'll most probably ruin your day because of the experience you'll have with them!!!

    Never making this mistake again

    I visited this place only once and had a horrible experience. The lady who did my hair was extremely racist and told me that I do not belong in Canada as I do not dress like Canadians. She kept referring to me as "you people" and insulted my mother big time. I can not explain the stuff she said further because it is quite hurtful up to this day and talking about it just makes me cry more. Furthermore, I asked for layers she did not cut layers and refused to agree that there are no layers in the hair. I consulted another hair specialist (not from velvet spa) that evening and she agreed there were no layers what so ever in my hair, that other hair specialist then gave me layers free of charge. I was extremely disappointed by the kind of customer harassment I faced in that spa and would never make the mistake of entering it again, the memory has left me and my mother scarred for the rest of our lives.
