I Ordered the Fillet of Beef medium rare received it well done send it back and got it back medium well Dude in the Kitchen that calls himself an Executive Chef needs some cooking lessons. Dessert had the Creme Brullee the Sugar Crust was so thick you needed a Hammer to get through it . The only thing that was really good was the appetizer but who goes to a Restaurant and pays all that money for an Appetizer . It is over priced for what you get and for the Quality. We won't be going back.
Easily the best restaurant in Lindsay! I've been twice, once with friends and once on a date both times have been exceptional. Amazing Wine list with an excellent selection and organic options. The food was great quality. Very fresh and a lot of local ingredients. Small portion sizes but to be expected from a fine dinning establishment. The Gnocchi was delicious as were the olives, very fresh. The service was great, even though it was very busy we never felt ignored. The Owner and Chef both make appearances in the dinning room and mingle with guests. This is exactly what Lindsay needed. And its the reservatoin only, sold out dinningroom night after night, further emphsizes this.
I was so excited to try this restaurant because I love italian food! The atmosphere is beautiful...it has been very well decorated. I was not impressed by the selection of food. There were only a few appetizers to choose from and no salads or garlic breads to order. I ended up choosing the "marinated olives"...which were nothing to rave about. I then had the tiger shimp pasta....it was lacking flavor. I could have easily cooked up some pasta and shrimp at home and poured some tomato sauce over it...and it would have been equily enjoyable. We ended up spending over $80 for each of us and left still hungry!
