I have no complaints about this restaurant. This is one of the best I have ever been to. Being a pure vegetarian, I am fully satisfied leaving this place happy. There is an unlimited variety of food, which is almost impossible to try everything. The fod is always heated properly, fresh and appearance is good. The service is also very good, the dirty plates get taken away very fast and friendly staff. I am surprised to read the bad comments about Brar, this is definetely a recommendation. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.

Normally don't post reviews anywhere, but we've been going here for a mid-week lunch buffet for a couple of years and I can't believe some of the negative comments I'm reading. I'm not Indian, but have a well-developed taste for spicy foods like Indian and Caribbean. I'm also far from a vegetarian, but the buffet food here is superb, so much so that I'll choose this restaurant over any of the other meat or meat-free buffets Indian in the City. The cooks do a great job of balancing the flavours, never using the spices to overpower the food, leaving enough of the heat and/or other flavouring to make the food great. We always leave feeling like we ate very well. And the service has always been friendly and attentive. Maybe the weekends are a little different, busy and reduced quality of service but I have nothing negative to say about any of our visits, except Top Notch all the way.

Well, this is my second time at this location and I must admit I was disappointed. The food was too bland that I ended up eating the pasta and onion rings that they offer. I tried to try a bit of everything, but after a while it all started to taste the same!!!! Unless someone can convince me otherwise, I don't think I will be coming back again!!!!

This is the first buffet I've ever been to where i can feast on whatever my heart desires. Most dishes are vegan, and all are vegetarian. The food tastes great. I'm sure the service could be improved for some, though I go to restaurants to eat, so as long as i get my drinks and the dirty plates are removed, I am pretty much satisfied. Good atmosphere, and the chefs are happy to answer any questions one may have.

Aptly named, Brars’ Grand Buffet is open for lunch (11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.) and dinner (5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.). Authentically Indian, the buffet is entirely vegetarian, consisting of dishes like paneer, samosas, aloo gobi and vegetable biryani. The restaurant first opened in 1986 and now has two locations, one in Etobicoke and one in Brampton, as well as their own line of Indian products sold at Wal Mart and Loblaws.
