Mei Ling has been around since we moved to Aurora 26 years ago and the food is always consistent (Great) their Chilli Squid is one of their specialty and it is to die for. Mei Ling is our only choice my family loves it. The people who own it are wonderful too always polite curtious and always making sure that their customers are happy. Nothing negative only wish that the seating area was a little bigger. Again cannot say enough about Mei Ling except that it is worth a try.
Mei Lings is the go to place for Chinese food. Been going for years and the food does not taste anything like other Chinese food. Have never been disappointed!
I've been a customer for 10 years and always enjoyed the food. Last week when I took my food home I found out that beef and broccoli was actually mostly corn ,onion,carrot beef and 4 pieces of broccoli. So tonite when I ordered I asked for only beef and broccoli but I got the same things as the previous week . I called to complain and recultantly they agreed to deliver just beef and broccoli. It was delivered after 1/2 hr, by a very aggressive man who told me that I was lying ...unbelievable ,
We have tried almost every Chinese food restaurant in the Newmarket and Aurora area and like some aspects of each but not others. Mei Ling is the closest to my ideal Chinese food. I really enjoyed he BBQ pork fried rice which is my favourite part of Chinese take-out. The Cantonese chow mein was delicious and loaded with vegetables. The egg rolls were decent, not the best I've had but they will do. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. The service was excellent, the hostess/owner was very helpful and friendly. Will definitely return for take-out, would be fun to dine in as well.
