We were 3rd in line when we came at 10am on a Saturday but wait time was just 5-7 min. Waitress was very accommodating and quick. Food was served in less than 10 min. Portion was ginormous , can actually be shared. Coffee refill was offered all throughout your meal. Very homestyle cooking. Don't expect anything fancy.

I have just been reading over some of these reviews.. "Fancy.. go back to wherever you came from cus Angelique's is Ajax's Jewel of Restaurants! My husband and I frequent this lovely little place on a weekly basis.. The place is a very warm and home spun design setting. I really don't mind the mismatch of dishes and what-not as this makes it that wonderfully warm and cosy feeling that you slept at Grandma's farm, Which gives you have that " back home " feeling that you just got outta bed, to delicious scents of bacon cooking on the grill, to come in to the kitchen to be treated to the best eggs in town! The staff are awesome.. Carrie is one of the most funniest and TRUE caring folks..her service is ALWAYS excellent and cheerful her humor is catching and she's always a delight. Jen is also amazing and always excellent service with a genuine smile. The other staff are always polite hardworking and great service!. Their teamwork is smooth and efficient and they are always a delight to see and chat with. If you're taste is home cooking this it the place to be! What could be better.. it could be larger.. so more customers would be able to enjoy this true jewel of Ajax..

Wow where do I begin????? I have heard so many good things about this restaurant that I decided to get together with some of my girlfriends and head out for a ladies brunch. To our demise it turned out to be one of the worse experiences ever. From the wait outside, to the cleanliness, to all the items hanging over our heads waiting for an accident to happen. To top it all of the dishes were absolutely a mess...... food wise and looks. I don't think one table had any matching dishes. They must have gotten them from a bunch of yard sales. Our party all ordered different dishes, from chicken souvlaki, hamburgers, philly steak sandwich, breakfast..... etc. The chicken souvlaki was the worst I have ever had.....souvlaki? If that was souvlaki than I am the Queen of England. It was just pieces of dried up chicken that was tough as leather that tasted several days old that was just reheated in the microwave. Hamburgers? Wow they were the same.... I swear that their food is pre-cooked a couple of days ahead of time. As for the eggs..... well make sure you stress how you want your eggs because if you ask for over easy..... well lets just say the older man in the kitchen so I have been told is the owner, can't cook eggs if his life depended on it. I know this because one of my girlfriends had to send her eggs back a few times as the yolk was dried out and she could not dip her toast in it like she likes to do. I did go back though a few months later and there was a younger man in the kitchen this day.... Our food was amazing. I asked the waitress who cooked it this day. She went to the kitchen asked them came back and told me it was the cook named Mike. However, I decided to go back one next time and the Mike cook wasn't there and of course our food was disgusting yet again. I was so angry. Our waitress (Kerri) was rude and not very attentive at all. I asked one of the other waitresses where this Mike cook is and she said he was off and would not be back for some time. I am not sure why he is off but all I can say is that I hope he comes back soon or they get him back soon because if not I think there will be alot of very unhappy customers.

if you want gross food and bad service this place is perfect for you

worst breakfast of my entire life, i wont be back and neither should anyone else think of going here. The inside was dirty and disgusting, the food was gross. You couldnt pay me to eat here again
