While food is at the heart of our offerings, our stores provide a wide, growing and successful range of products and services to meet your everyday household needs.
I have noticed that when the store manager (there is a picture of him hanging in the lobby smiling and holding two bananas) sees a customer with a brown or a darker complexion checking out their groceries, he will stop what he is doing and go speak to one of the cashiers at the front. After that, the cashier will go and stand beside the customer and watch them scan their groceries. At the same time the cashier does not watch the other customers (who don't have brown complexions) scan theirs.
We like that the No Frills on St Anne’s Road is within walking distance but if we want fresh produce we drive to Superstore because of the poor selection at No Frills. Today they didn’t have bags of coleslaw or 2-5lb bags of carrots. There were “baby” carrots.
