WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!! THis company left myself my 8mnth old daughter, and injured husband high and dry on moving day! They wanted to take our stuff to their compound load it into a different truck and bring it to our new place later that evening. we said no, the man proceeded to call my husband names and then left us there.
just wanted to let everyone know what a great job this company did for us!!! We moved from winnipeg to edmonton at the end of June for my husbands work. Through many trials and tribulations due to the timing of my husbands start date, the sale of our home and some medical issues in Winnipeg, the staff at Budget Moving went above and beyond our expectations. We originally set our pick up for June 23 and had to change it to the end of June at the last minute. Kim fit us in at the end of the day on the 29th in a major hot spell and I know Ben and Ewart were tired and we were so sorry and very grateful!!! We couldn't of imagined doing this on our own and without you... Thank you so much we will recommend you to our friends without hesitation.

The movers arrived at our house in Brandon 8 1/2 hrs late. They didn't phone to say that they would be late. When I called them to make sure that they were coming, the driver answered and instead of an apology, he was rude! When they arrived, the driver was rude again. We ended up paying an extra $500 (he wanted $750) because the info we were given on the phone wasn't acurate. The lady in the office said we would pay by weight - because they weigh the truck, so we estimated and listed what we had. Brandon doesn't have a weigh station? The driver could see that the list was wrong but started to load anyway and then told me they wouldn't take the rest and wouldn't take what they had off the truck so that we could get someone else! The best part is when they arrived in Calgary... at 11:30 PM the next night (the day they originally said they would be there)... the driver insisted that my daughter help unload! HELP? My daughter and the other mover unloaded everything!! He did very little. Unless you can avoid this particular driver.(Scott), please don't use this company.
I had these movers and a lot of little pieces of the bottoms of furniture went missing, they marked my dressers with paint from scratching walls with my furniture. Sent 2 of the smallest young people to move furniture and one average size man and charged me 700 to move my stuff and even left stuff behind! Terrible business - not recommended!

From the first phone call and speaking with Lisa (the owner) she gave me so much information in the first minute of our conversation and she was so friendly, I felt comfortable enough to book on the spot. The crew that was sent to me (Tyler and Greg) were so quick and effecient. Thanks so much Lisa, I will definetly tell all my friends!!
Wow I've moved probably 10 times in the last 10 years and I have to tell everyone I can about your company. My last move was over 6 hours into storage and budget moving moved me in 4 hours out of storage. The guys were awsome, thank you Tyler! I will make sure anyone I know moving will call you guys.
Do not use ! Cheap and nasty. Charged me for 1 hour more than they were on site, and their lazy workers did not put items of furniture correctly back together again. When I phoned to ask for them to come back, all calls and requests were ignored. I eventually gave up.
No request for uncompleted service would be ignored. I believe the extra hour of service you are speaking about would be the 1-hour standard industry travel time charge. Based on the information that was left on the review, (no name, move date, etc) makes it difficult to rectify the situation further, however if you would like to have one of our customer service representatives contact you please feel free to email us at customerservice@budgetmoving.ca. as your complaint is important to us.
