Vicki Reese, the owner of Coquitlam Tarot, desires closure and happiness for her clients. But her goal is to show them how to achieve this on their own. “I provide people with tools so that they can intuitively receive the answers for themselves,” she explains. “So, by coming for tea leaf reading, I show them how to do it so that they can go home and play with the tea leaves on their own. It’s not just me being the expert – I want to send them away with tools, so they can find intuitive answers themselves using a variety of methods.”
Vicki has chosen this route because she wants to empower people. By giving them the ability to find answers instead of simply telling them, she believes people are in a better position to find long-term happiness and contentment. “I can send them off with the sage and there is more than one way to smudge,” Vicki says, referring to two of the techniques she uses “By gaining insight, the client is able to make choices that are best for them.”
