J'ai été agréablement surpris lors de ma première visite de ce restaurant sur Prince-arthur. Vous avez probablement déjà remarqué sa magnifique facade en bois vernis si vous êtes fan de cette rue animée et reconnue pour la gastroniomie montréalaise. À l'intérieur, un décor typiquement arabe avec les voiles au plafond et les lumières juste assez tamisées. La qualitée de la nourriture est surprenante et les plats toujours bien arômatisés des épices typiques (coriande, riz parfumé, etc.). Mon plât de prédilection a été le jarrêt d'agneau qui fût délectable tout en remplissant mon appétit considérable. Les menus sont très bien expliqués et sont inférieurs à 30$ pour une table d'hôte complète. J'ai aussi trouvé très sympathique de pouvoir apporter mon propre vin. Je recommande fortement !! Live jazz, great wine, wonderful meal... Need I say more? We got a table upstairs, next to the band. Usually, you'd want to keep a distance, but this was wonderful. The singer was great. The wine selection was varied. The meal was very well done. The lamb was as good as they promised (which is not always the case at all restaurants) Our server was lovely and very accommodating. They did charge us an extra $8 for splitting the lamb-chops between the kids. If I am paying $220 for my meal, I don't expect that. Still, it did not affect the beautiful evening we had. Read more
