I’ve been to Dog and Bear many times. It’s a traditional British style pub. It’s laid back and chill, not a place for an event but definitely a place to hang out with the friends and grab some pints. Football(soccer) lovers as owners the screens always have good matches on during the season. If you are there on a day where west Ham and Man U go head to head you will likely see the rivalry as friends and supporters pile in and sit in separate sections of the bar to cheer for their teams. I know Magweyers Restaurant in the Baywood Plaza in Ajax is superb. The food is so delightfully fresh and flavours that to h your pallet so gracefully. I have tried most of the menu ,and with the food and lovely service, I can only say it’s a solid 5 STAR restaurant. I would love to go on but go and try it for yourself. My girlfriend and I went up to tobermory ontario a few weeks ago. I have never had such amazing customer service in my entire life. Our server was super kind, funny and made lots of jokes to keep us entertained through our meal. Incredible service 100%. The sticky toffee pudding is TO DIE FOR. Their mussles are so good that my 10yo orders them every time we were there. Yeah, that’s right, a 10yo. The same kid who won’t even look at a pizza if it has touched pizza sauce. During COVID, the service standard has been consistently amazing. Decent for a pub. Service isn't the best but the BLT chicken wrap that i always order never disappoints. The greek salad is also great. I would not reccommend sitting inside, the patio is the place to be. I go for lunch at the arms at least once a week, I'll continue to as long as the BLT wrap remains delicious! Read more
