I have been to this place now at least 15 times over the past year and not once have I been disappointed. We visited on Sunday for brunch and to celebrate a birthday. We have been here before and loved it so decided to take our out of town guests here to celebrate. They were so impressed with the Blackshop. We had intimate seating for the 6 of us. Several in our group ordered the eggs benedict and they were delicious! Eggs were perfectly poached. My husband and I frequently visit for our Friday night date nights and have never had a substandard meal or service experience. We love the fact that we can have a great meal and a couple of drinks at an affordable price without standing in line. If you like to pay inflated prices for cookie cutter microwaved meals and stand in line for the pleasure, this is not the place for you. The staff has been nothing short of pleasant and accomodating at every visit and make it their business to try to remember their customers. We were lucky enough to be placed beside a warm brick fireplace, on a cold winter afternoon. As we walked in, we were instantly greeted by the host at Swiss Chalet on Dundas Street in Cambridge, Ontario. He led us to our booth within minutes, as the waitress made her way to our table. The energy around us from the staff, customers and store were welcoming, warm, and crucial to how comfortable, and suitable our lunch was going to be. The rotisserie chicken club wrap with fries, along with the rotisserie quarter chicken meal with whipped potatoes was ordered during our visit, with excellent service and time management. The server was friendly, engaged in conversation and interest of what we were ordering and how satisfied we were with our Swiss Chalet experience. Our overall experience at Swiss Chalet, the Cambridge location was delightful.
