Toronto Beer Week (September 15 to 23) sees restaurants and bars across the city celebrating Ontario craft breweries. You can expect dinner pairings, trivia nights, pub-crawls, brewery battles and debates all week long! Check out there these venues showcasing flavourful beer and talented breweries in 2017!
Beerbistro has a vast selection of events to attend this Beer Week. From interactive beer trivia, to a battle of the brews where two breweries will go head to head with the guests getting final say on the winner. Beerbistro also hosts the Golden Tap Awards the leading awards event what recognizes the best craft beer achievements in Ontario.
The charm here is found in the underground venue and the selection of craft brews. C’est What? hosts a bevvy of events including a bus tour, a breakfast and beer pairing and a live art performance. On the 17th there’s a debate between popular beer writers where they discuss the meaning of craft beer and the path of Ontario’s beer future.
This Irish pub celebrates St. Patrick’s Day early and what better time to do it than during Beer Week? The celebration, taking place on Saturday, includes prizes, beer specials, living music and a live DJ!
Liberty Commons offers a deal that cannot be beat! There’s a late night menu starting at 10 pm including $3 glasses of LC Lager, and $4 glasses of Big Rock draught beer. The menu is packed with late night snacks like beer-battered fish tacos and burgers.
The Beer Hall is hosting a cheese night! The Cast & Cheese Fest has five different cask beers paired with locally sourced cheese. While you taste the delicious pairings, DJ Humble Mike will be spinning vinyl all night
Page One Café is going to be busy during Beer Week! From paint nights to open mic, to beer pairings, there is a lot to choose from. The standout event is Bean & Brews is a collaboration between Beau’s Brewery and Propeller Coffee Roasters. The beer and coffee pairings were all expertly chosen to compliment each other. All proceeds for the event will go towards YMCA Sprott House.
The Queen and Beaver hosts an Industry Night Pub Crawl in collaboration with Alehouse, Junction Brewery, Rainhard Brewery and Shacklands Brewery. They will be tapping CASK versions of the joint brew between Alehouse and Junction Brewery.
Local watering hole The WREN is known for its rotating list of craft brews and Southern rustic menu. This Beer Week it’s the first stop on the Danforth Pub Crawl, and Halo Brewery and Great Lakes Brewery are taking over the taps on September 19.
WRVST hosts its annual Craft Invitational where guests are invited to try craft brews from 12 of Ontario’s emerging breweries. Samples are available by the glass or in flights. You can vote for your favourite, and the winner is announced Sunday at 4:30 pm.
