I have purchased many shoes here. In fact I own 4 pairs of Merrells. One pair was purchased in May 2018. They fell apart a mere 6 months in. For 189$! Obviously defective. I returned to the store with these defective shoes and receipt. I was assured they would take care of this matter several times. They have ignored me. I even bought another pair of Merrells while there. Idiot that I am. I returned to the store 10 days later they still have these defective shoes and receipt.

I had the most wonderful experience in service and a grandiose variety of styles adaptable to any foot. Everyone greeted me with great smiles. The saleslady who helped me showed me so much patience and understanding i left the store with three pairs of shoes that I actually wear and it didn't cost me a million dollars. I have since then recommended the store to a couple of friends and they all had the same positive comments...

Nice selection, good quality shoes…. but...

Well, I have been in the store several times, and it's not the first time I find this particular woman offensive. Yes, she certainly tried hard to find me a pair of winter boots, but to the point of being pushy. Not only that, they weren't even my size! At one point, she went to her sister store, that's just around the bend to get me another pair, this is when I realized that she had me trying on a pair of size 40's, which were too big in the back of the foot. I traditionally wear a size 7.5 shoe, and wear a size 8 boot. A 40 is about 2 sizes over that. I was told they make these boots small. Really? She was stuffing in insoles, to no avail, they didn't fit properly. I finally settled on a similar pair. Believe me, I would not have purchased them had I not been so desperate for something. This woman is probably 10 years my senior. As a fifty two year old woman, I don't need to be called 'hon', especially when it's not genuine. I will not support this store again. I left with a bitter taste, feeling like I was pushed and harassed to make my purchase. I know footwear like these can be found elsewhere. Oh, a sidebar for all of you, I have spoken to several people in my neck of the woods, and they all know her, and acknowledge that they don't go there because of her. Pity.
