Welcome to The Lyric TheatreThe Lyric Theatre has a long history. It was built in 1912 as a vaudeville theatre. Over time it was converted to a movie theatre and then a night club during the 1980s. After the last night club closed in 2003, the Theatre sat empty for two years.In 2005 a group of Swift Current residents saw the potential of the historic building, and decided it had sat empty long enough.
