My partner always eats here for his Indian fix, so I decided to go with him to try it out for myself. First impression, nice decor in the restaurant, but very little space to move around in. They weren't packed with diners, but was still pretty busy. Everytime we went up for food, there was always a lineup at the buffet. The food was good, however I found that it was catered to an those who prefer mild rather than spicy, which is good for me, but for those who are looking for spicy, it might not be for your palette. During my second round at the buffet, I noticed that I was picking up everything I ate already, which shows that there wasn't much of a variety to choose from. Overall, it was a nice experience and good introduction to Indian buffet.
I was so impressed when I was first introduced to this Indian buffet and so have returned with friends and family... but think that I'll put a stop to that.
There's always a line-up and then there's the constant plate-clearing to help rush you through your meal. The food is pretty good but really, not great. (They could start with improving the presentation...) My Mom ordered a glass of wine that never arrived and but did on our bill. All pretty forgivable - but think that we'll go elsewhere next time.

The best Indian restaurant in Toronto. The only restaurant on Gerrard with a constant line up (and think how many restaurants there are). A great buffet, always being replenished. Great variety of flavours and presentations. The bread is out of this world. If you order from the menu, the selection is even better. Every dish cooked fresh, and they will adjust the heat to your liking. Very attentive and polite servers. A beautifully decorated room. Do yourself a favour - go to Sidhartha tonight.
