Meet the owner

Brett Young and her fiancée had plenty of inspiration to follow their passion and open up their own ice cream shop. Brett herself spent several years running her own business, while he came from a family that owned an ice cream shop in Ontario’s Muskoka region. It was only a matter of time before they naturally combined their know-how to make their dream a reality.

“My fiancée had talked about opening up a shop for year; we knew that we wanted to be in The Beaches. When we found this space, we thought it was the perfect location and the right time,” says Brett. Located steps from both Woodbine Park and Ashbridges Bay, Brett’s Ice Cream opened in May 2017, and has quickly become a beloved neighbourhood hotspot.
