I have been writing short stories since the mid-1990s, but mostly since 2004. I've had a lot of experience with people in my past work positions, particularly in my position until 2015, which was mainly as a Computer Studies teacher for 12 years at Albert Campbell Collegiate Institute in Scarborough, Ontario. Before that, for 3 years, I was teaching in a similar capacity at Don Mills Collegiate Institute. I am now a retired teacher with over 15 years' full-time experience. I'm also a proud mother and grandmother. I've studied psychology and sociology at university and I have a fair number of university and college English courses to my credit. As a full-time student at Seneca College, I was a part-time English tutor for two years (1993-1995) and I won Seneca College's Tom Proctor Award in 1995 for Excellence in Business Communications.I love writing mostly about people, their relationships with each other, and the many things in life that affect them. This comes largely from my personal life experience, but is certainly not limited to that. I live in Ajax, Ontario and I love it here! My books are, together, a collection of 75 short stories that I've written about people, their relationships and the common problems that they face every day: Issues like marriage, divorce, murder, betrayal, seduction, and deception, as well as a host of other life-related topics that can affect human relationships.
