After getting quoted insane prices for a small repair to my backyard patio I decided to give it a try myself. The people there gave me a lot of help in determining how much and what I needed and after a little calling around I discovered the prices were quite reasonable. Every Spring we used to go and buy our garden plants at the local big box store always assuming that it was cheaper. My neighbour turned me on to this little place down the road. I have driven by this place a million times and missed it as you may too but it is well worth seeking out this little gem of a Garden Center. The flowers and plants I found there were so beautiful, healthy, and inexpensive. Some as much as 50% cheaper than the big store down the road. I think the key to this is the lady who cares for them. Mrs. Villacci was pleasant and knowledgeable and personally cares for every plant in their greenhouse. I recommend this place highly, so much so I even brought my Mom there for her flowers!!
Just bought a house and wanted to improve the appearance of the front lawn. My neighbour suggested this place saying the prices were fair and his experience dealing with them for the last 10 years has been good. Went in to order sod and 3 mix and discovered that they also have a disposal service. I had just ordered a small disposal bin for the soil I was taking out from Bud$et Disposal for $350 and they had a bin that was actually bigger for $160. WOW!!! Clearly someone was making too much money off of me. Needless to say I cancelled the first bin and had Sod and a bin delivered the same day. Kudos to you Villacci's
I NOT SURE ABOUT SOD , IF IT NOT INSTALLED RIGHT IT DOES DIE, BUT I ORDER TOPSOIL, THE QUALITY AND PRICE WAS GREAT AND THE DELIVERY WAS ON TIME, BUY LOCAL AND FROM SMALL BUSINESS. CHEERS
I'm sorry to say I would not recommend this business. I am a big believer in shopping local and supporting the "Small business man." The last straw was this past weekend when I purchased sod from them and not just a few rolls a whole backyards worth. It arrived brown and "smoking" hot. So hot we could barely pick it up. We tried to save it, but in the end it needed to be replaced. We went back to either get our money back or get replacement sod. When we showed them pictures of what arrived they said We installed it incorrectly and didn't water it,(btw we watered it and watered it) at no time did they take responsibility, and seemed very reluctant to replace this brown sod. A very rude representative said they would not guaranty that the new sod would be any better...Any better? Yup that's what they said! Take it or leave it. I'm sorry at least from the Faceless Giant garden centers out there , I believe they would have a little more Customer service and not try and blame the customer of improperly installing sod. This was not my first dealings with this company,and the other transactions were similar. I will now take my business elsewhere. I hope they change their attitude or I'm sure you will see more comments like this. Do your homework folks it's your home,your garden don't settle for sub-standard product OR service. You work hard enough for your money.
