Well, I was in Sault Ste, Marie this past weekend. I flew in late and just had to find something to grab in the late evening.
We stumbled upon Gigi's. I almost wish we never had. To its credit, the server was genuinely a super-great guy. He was personable, attentive, and didn't even rush us when we were finishing up as they were closing. He was the one redeeming memory of this place.
The pizzas may have well been taken out of the McCain frozen pizza box. The crust was bland, the vegetables were awkwardly chopped and just had no flavour at all. Thankfully the sauce was passable.
My guest had the Calabrese and could barely even eat any of it.
Overall, just poor preparation and weak ingredients.According to everyone I know, there is great pizza elsewhere in this community. Apparently it is just not here. Stay away!
