Sims Custom Woodworking Inc. has been operating for 50 plus years. The company was founded in the early 1950's by Henry Sims. He started the business in a small 1200 sq. ft. shop at the bottom of Bainbridge Street. In 1967, Henry relocated to 1244 Great Northern Road where the company still operates. The company has seen a lot of changes throughout the years. Since the humble beginnings in the early 1950's in a 1200 sq. ft. shop, to 1967 in a 2100 sq. ft. shop, to 1977 expanding to 6000 sq. ft. with more plans to expand currently.
