LOVE THERE GLUTEN FREE PASTA AND PIZZA
Food is pretty good and service is very good, ask for Eric, Suzy or Marlee for the best service around! My favourite is the cheese capeletti. Although, I do find there prices to be too much.
Food was the worst Italian ever, service was bad and pasta was terrible. I left cursing myself dat i decided to give it a try
The general service seemed slow. The waiters/host were not really attentive and looked unmotivated. The waiter we had was actually one of the better ones, but still didn't get the order right. We ordered regular pasta and regular pizza. We got our garlic bread and salad as expected. After a little while we got our pizza, but no pasta. We figured maybe it wasn't ready yet, so we didn't mention anything. After finishing the pizza, there was still no sign of the pasta, and the waiter took our order for dessert. At that point we didn't want to wait for the pasta anymore, so we didn't mention it. We ate our dessert, then got the bill. The pasta was listed on it. We mentioned it and the staff tried to void it on the bill but weren't able to do it, so we got cash back. The food wasn't bad, fitting to east side mario's. No suprises there. Allover alright, friendly service, but not very professional.
It was a slow weeknight but we were told there was no chicken, no sausage, no house salad, no shrimp. This cuts the menu choice more than in half. Everyone at the table was forced to get a vegetarian meal for lack of supplies and when asked if we wanted house or ceasar salad we chose a house salad but then was told they have no house salad left and was forced to get cesear. We were not compensated in any way for forced menu choices. Our server told us she'd been having problems with people ordering drinks and then being told of the sever menu limitations and them getting up and walking out without paying for drinks. I couldn't bring myself to do that but I really wanted to. Never going back.
Food was bad. Service so so. Not a good experience. Menu choices awful. Wont be visiting again.
Our server was the person who made our night the greatest. His name was Dave, employee number 82 I think. We went in on a busy Saturday night but he managed to serve us in a prompt friendly manner and we will definatly be coming back, only if Dave is our server though. He should manage that place. He was just so calm and cool even though it looked like he was taking care of numerous tables at the same time, it never felt like it. Great stuff Dave, thank you.
I was looking around on the net and I came across this site.. I am shocked to have seen that people gave East Side Marios such bad ratings for service. That is the reason I keep going back. Its never a question where my boyfriend and I will eat when he comes to visit. Everytime we've been we've have amazing service and the food is great! I work in this industry and I wish I could work in such a great place as East Side Marios.
I love East Side Mario's. My friends and I go there 2 or 3 times a month. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. I love the unlimited bread and salad you get with your meal. The restaurant is always clean even though it's usually very busy. The staff is amazing, especially Jen, she always remembers me and my friends and she makes you feel like she's a friend of yours.
The food is very good, although u can xpect a bit of a wait if it is full or u have a big party try the cheese cappeleti
Always have fun at east sides. Staff is always helpful love the food!!
I cant beleive the bad rating ESM got, I love east sides, I have never had problem there and ive probley eaten there atleast 20 times in my life! Never had a problem with service or the food. Maybe some of these ppl just had one bad experience, i am shocked!! I love east sides and would eat there any night of the week!!!
We had a great time here! Lots of fun. Our server was a blast, sorry can't remember her name. The food was great, I asked who the cook was, his name was Colin I think. Great job man much better than the east side I have been to in other towns.
Although there are long waits and the waitresses and waitors seem to have their hands full, the food is totally worth it. Every dish I have tried there has been excellent, but my absolute favourite is the amatriciana. I love their salad bowls and their warm bread and creamy butter too!
I wasn't looking forward to the visit to East Side Mario's but was willing to go where the others chose. The service was very good. We had a guy named Devon, I believe, who was very helpful. The food was fairly good and plentiful. We had a baby in detached car seat and the staff were quick to rig an upside down highchair which fit the car seat perfecty. Overall it was a good dining experience.
Manager welcomed us on arrival and seated us, a very friendly personable guy. Wait staff were friendly, efficient and made sure all our needs were met. My husband ordered a pasta meal that has not been on the menu for about two years and they were able to accommodate him. The restaurant was clean and bright with a good atmosphere, this a place to take the whole family - we will be back.
The service here is always terrible, the wait for food is always long (even when its not busy) and make sure to ask your server if they have changed anything on the menu,on my last visit I ordered what I thought was my usual meal only to have something very different arrive, the reason for the confusion, they switched the name of my fav ** this was not listed on the menu anywhere** Noisey, rude staff and boring
Waited 20 min longer than they told us it would be. Given utensils w/ fried on green stuff... Extremely hard to flag down our waitress who looked like she was serving too many tables. Not an enjoyable evening based on the really bad service.
Prices have been raised soooo much and the food quality is not consistent. Staff are downright rude, even to the kids, who were very well behaved. Even told by the manager that the soup that came with my meal could not be given to my 9 year old son! What does it matter who eats it. I didn't want it and he did. Won't go back.
Um, ok. If this is a real ESM server than I definitely will not be returning to the Sarnia restaurant. The food is ok. Its the service. My partner and I walked in and it was really quiet in the restaurant. Two servers that had been working there for at least a year now were arguing over who had to serve us. No one wanted to. Finally we had a really nice girl take our order and told us some guy would be taking over for her. Well, we had her our whole visit. The male server was busy staking chairs and sweeping under our feet while we were eating. And his singing (like we weren't there) was driving us mad. It was very rude. The atmosphere wasn't very welcoming. I don't mind noisy busy...but not noisy abnoxious servers, no thanks! Too bad because I have had really nice servers in the past. Unfortunately, I will not risk going back and having a bad experience....I don't want to waste 50.00 again on a bad time. (oh ya, that night our food was served to us a little too fast....like it was microwaved or something).
