It’s safe to say that Le Firme owner John de Laurentiis loves fine Italian suits. He has, after all, created one of the most exclusive, high-end Italian and internationally recognized suit stores in Canada.
“Our business is two sides,” John says. “On the one side, we carry the latest in Italian suits with a rotating list of the top brands in Italy. On the other side, we have our custom-made and bespoke clothing line. There are really only about 13 stores that do what we do in North America.”
For the Italian-designer-suit side of the business, John is constantly keeping up with new trends, curating a very specific look for his store. “We visit to Italy anywhere from three to five times a year,” John says. “And we acquire the best in Italian brands, like Versace, like Gucci. It changes every time we go because we like to create an eclectic mix of suits, jackets, trousers, etc.”
