Good food. However, service leaves a lot to desire. The host or hostess have favorites that will take precedence over everybody. If you plan to dine here at peak hours book a reservation, if you can.

Good Food, average service

I went to this restaurant with a friend of mine and we both had a good time there. I really like the setting of the restaurant, it really is a nice place with nice décor! The food was pretty good, I had a pizza and my friend had a pasta. Service was pretty average but overall we had a good experience.

We aarived at 6 on a Friday, between then and 7:15 I believe our server appeared at our table 2 may be 3 times tops. The wait for even a soft drink order was over 10 minutes. She finally took our food orders at 7:30 , One of our party orderd the braised ribs but we were informed they had dropped that over a year ago, yet there it was still on the menu. Surprisingly the food came out in a reasonable time. The entrees were ok to good, but nothing special. I would be willing to try again but the service was just sooooo bad.

We where 5 from Montreal and we loved the experience and the food the price is good and the food is great good atmosphere and good wine the pasta is also very good, actualy we want twice for the good food

I'm not sure why people think this is such a poor restaurant. We wnt when it was freezing cold outside. It's a quaint italian restaurant. I would definitely visit it again. The food was great. They had the basic Italian foods but then had some interesting twists that we had never heard of before like veal with figs. It tasted awesome. The service was good. It's a sit down restaurant and you can expect to wait to have your food made and served to you. But it is not unlike any other sitdown restaurant. I think we waited about 20 minutes for our food. Being that it is in the old theatre is really cool. They have great pictures on the wall from local artists that you can buy and they make for great conversation pieces. Yes the restaurant is a little noisy when it is full but what restaurant isn't. It's not so loud that you can't hear yourself talk. The tiramisu was so light but creamy. It was the best tiramisu I've ever tasted. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

terrible , hardly got service , waiter spilled my wine and this place was awful. dont go your not missing out on anything

The food wasn't terrible, but for the price you're paying, I expected a bit more quality. The service was horrible. We waited 20 minutes for drinks, and after we were done eating, another 15 minutes before the waitress would come by to give us the bill.

The only problem was having to sit upstairs where it was hot, hot, hot and when I asked them to turn on the ceiling fans (2) was told they didn't work (!?). So either fix the fans or provide portable fans. The rating otherwise would have been much higher.
