Chain food seems same wherver you go,seems that way here to, food average and price not disagreeable, but if you've never tried it., the Festive Special that has cranberries,stuffing, freis, andLindt Lindor chocolates that are amazing. Great place for family visits.(Just don't drink the lemon water they bring you at the end of your meal,fingrebowl cleaner)

The only good thing about the whole night was the Chalet sauce and the server. The food was overcooked, far to much sodium and the fries looked like they'd been kicked around the kitchen floor. small pieces of something that resembled a potato that had been overcooked. The pie was soggy, soggy, soggy. I've never been more diasppointed

Legs were overcooked and had to be sent back...

Legs were overcooked and had to be sent back. Fries were dry and way overcooked. Pie wasn't editable. We weren't offered finger dipping dishes. The table next to us also complained about the kids burger buns being burnt black yet still brought to the table. I know this is a busy time for them but can they expect their clients to return after being served really bad food. I think not

We were there 1 hour before our order was taken...

We were there 1 hour before our order was taken. When we got the order it was cold. We had to ask for butter and sour cream for the baked potatoe. We didn't get a bowl to clean your hands after dinner. Swiss Chalet has always been a pleasant experience for us except for this one. The washrooms were very dirty. The service was below standards. As an added comment there were several complaints that night about the food and the service. It will be a long time before i visit this restaurant again.

I visited Swiss Chalet with low expectations. My four year old son was excited about the toys they offered so we went for a quick dinner. I was pleasently surprised. We sat with a young waitress who I unfortunatly also held low expectations for. At such a young age I doubted that she knew much...however she provided us with better service than we had recieved in a chain..maybe ever. She brought our meals promptly, was attentive, we didnt need to ask for refills, and when my son spilt on himself, she cleaned it all up and even stopped his crying. The food wasn't great, but as long as you have service like that, I would be back anytime.
