We are proud to be a part of that history and strive to maintain the tradition of the Kings Arms-providing welcome hospitality to the patrons of today.
Historic building that is supposedly haunted, real pub feel, good vibe, friendly servers. Has a large and really cool cobble stone court yard patio that feels like you're sitting in the 1800's.
I don't eat here alot but the food is good, wings, nachos and standard pub fare.
The owners Marco and Angelo are class acts and always take the time to personally welcome regular customers back.
Its kinda like Cheers because they always know your name and they are always glad you came.
It gets pretty hopping at night and is a good spot for single guys and gals if you know what I mean ;)
We visit often and always have a great time and enjoy the food. The menu is varied and the Chicken Pot Pie is excellent! Great local pub, happy it's in my neighbourhood!!
We decided to try the King's Arms because it had outdoor seating and the night was beautiful. We are glad we did. We expected a lot less than we got. The calamari was great, my chicken souvlaki sandwich was also. My son ordered the pierogies and was happy with them, as was my husband with the rich chicken dish. The waitress was very pleasant and accommodating the the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely go back again.
Aunt Cleo, or Chloe, or whomever, makes a fine chicken dinner. I think it's about the best thing I've eaten in Oakville, including at places a lot pricier than King's Arms. The burger's are good, standard pub fare.
The thing about King's Arms is the portions. On another visit my date and I ordered an appetizer of fried mushrooms, imagining a basket of maybe 16-20. The pile we got would have fed us both. The vegetable and cheese platter is a meal in itself. Excellent value for the price.
