My goodness what poor business / workmanship. From the minute they arrived to give a quote, it was all about money. I was asked if I'm ready to pay more times than I can count. I felt bullied when I needed help. The work was nothing like promised. My fence is crooked and coming apart. I was hung up on when I called to discuss the problems. All I can do now is save up to have a reputable installer come to fix the job. Peel fence / Shiner's contracting took advantage of me and my situation.
once they took the money they started to act in a different way towards me and after they finished work which was AWFUL actually i tried to contact them back and they started to hang up the phone on my face and not answering me and they even swore at me at one point. terrible experienc, terrible receptionist, terrible workers, terrible manager.
The base rate for a black 4 foot chain link fence was 30% higher than our lowest quote--but they could do the work sooner--so we paid. A single worker installed 160 feet of fence (we were told his assistant "slept in"). The installer left without notifying us he was finished. We discovered that he left all of his trash and cigarette butts. The fence was also chipped/scratched in a couple dozen places. We asked to discuss a discount and received an abusive and threatening email from the owner.
