The Little Green Schoolhouse is located in Applewood Acres. The licensed early childhood learning centre offers half-day programs for children preschool to senior kindergarten age. A hands-on, literacy rich curriculum, integrating language, math, science and the arts, also emphasizes healthy living and well-being which nurtures the whole child. The centre boasts a secure natural playground area large enough to incorporate an organic garden where the children help plant fruits and vegetables.
