Little Champ Camp

My three children went to this camp last year - we will be returning again this year. We have tried out many camps in the area and can say this is the absolute best one. Camp leaders do not only care about their campers but take pride in the lessons they are teaching them on a daily basis. My kids came out of camp last year more confident, happy, and just all-around better. The fact it is outdoors really sold us as our kids have been stuck inside with this pandemic.

Little Champ Camp in Clarkson is entirely outdoors with barely the basic consideration given to the safety and security of campers. For the first two weeks, my son had to change for swimming in one of two portable toilets that were emptied only once a week. During heatwaves with high humidity and temps in the high 30s, these “porta potties” were teeming with flies and the stench of daily use from dozens of campers and camp counsellors.
