On September 1, 1995, I married my husband in a small ceremony on our 10 acre property. Collectively we had three dogs at the time of our marriage. The smallest and oldest was a city-raised miniature long haired daschund named Felix. Two days following the happy nuptials the best man prepared to return to his in Belleville, Ontario. With goodbyes said, my sister and I proceeded to walk the distance to the house with the dogs in tow.
