I got take out. Disgusting is all I can say.
Since it was my birthday and I love seafood my family took me to Red Lobster. They wouldn't take reservations. We waited for 1 1/2 hours. Finally seated the utensils were dirty. What I ordered was not available. My daughter who loves seafood couldn't eat much of her plate. The baked potato I ordered was plain - no bacon bits, chives, cheese, etc. We asked about dessert for my birthday. Not even a cupcake and the dessert we ordered was not available. Was very disappointed.
I order a shrimp platter, with shrimp cooked in several different ways. I simply could not eat it. The amount of salt was like nothing I'd ever experienced before. The manager was extremely kind, and took it back, and returned with a piece of fresh salmon that was fantastic. I really appreciated that, and he was very apologetic. The waitress was in a bad mood, I don't know what her problem was.
The red lobster in London is excellent my friend and i went for dinner there one night it was awesome!!! The waiter was great he knew very much about the food on the menu, new all the drinks (alcholic and not) WE waited maybe 5-10 to be seated! Although the wait for the food was about 20-25mins we had no problem with that because we were very endulged in our conversations and we knew that it takes time to cook food!! My friend and i have made it a promise to go once a month and the food never fails!
Our dinners were amazing! Only complaint is that they put too much Caesar dressing on the salads. Our server was very nice, not sure of his name but has been with the restaurant for years. Friendly atmosphere! We enjoyed our anniversary dinner :)
The food is always great. I really have to say Thank you to the restaurant. My girlfriend and I have not seen each other for almost 2 years. We sat and talked and soon 4 hours had passed. No one came up to us and asked us to leave. We both greatly appreciate their kindness. Please pass this message along to the manager.
I have never had so much salt before, the soup was salty so were the biscuits and the shrimp tasted ultra salty when served garlic fried and they should not have. IF you have a blood pressure problem avoid this place.
The food was amazing! I'm really surprised to hear about bad service and food. Although it was busy, we got our food in resonable time and those chedder buns just kept coming! My meal was great and very plentiful. The shrimp were huge and flavourful and the cooked veggies were to die for! I couldn't managed to eat it all in one meal, but i got to take it home and ate it for lunch the next day! It was delicious, i will be back.
A classic. Greay food but delicious! they have a revamp menu now and offer actual fresh cooked vegetables instead of frozen now! the lobster and crab is always good, their cheddar-garlic biscuits are delicious! and the service is always great.
the only thing worth having is the chedder biscuits they serve before the meal. we went here for their "all you can eat shrimp feast". upon examining the menu further i found that all the options that were offered were either breaded and deep fried or doused in some sort of cream sauce. i decided to try the "seafood feast" instead while everyone else had the shrimp. the ceaser salad starters were swimming in that disgusting bottled sauce. thank-god for the delicious biscuits because the food took forever to come out. once presented the shrimp "feast" was nothing but tiny shrimp doctored to fill you up faster so you can't keep eating. the seafood feast was a boring letdown although there was quite a bit of food. the service was lacking, we were always wating for a drink. all in all just a really bad experience but to tell you the truth the biscuits themselves may be worth a visit. just order salad i guess.
The fries here aren't the greatest. They changed from Chiabatta buns to regualr buns. We asked to take the rest of our meal home, but never brought it out for us at all. The cheescake dessert has been great in the past, but this time the crust tasted cheap and the cheescake wasn't even cold.
My wife gets a craving for Red Lobster's shrimp every so often so I'll concede and take her. I always regret it after and vow to not cave the next time. The food is virtually inedible. I have tried a wide variety of the choices on their menu since I keep hoping to find one dish that might help me survive when my wife manages to drag me back again.
We usually have had very good service at the Red Lobster but yesterdays was just not good. Disappointed after calling and told they had "scamplies" and then when there told NO. Having to order other and it came just barely a hint of warmth. Waited a very long time to get even that. Red Lobster usually does better than that. A customer across from us sent a whole plater ($34.95) back to the kitchen and they had to get him another new plater. People were waiting far too long for thier meal.
