John Bell began installing and repairing overhead doors part-time while attending high school in 1986 and has been in the business ever since. He learned the trade working for manufacturing companies including Croskill Overhead Doors and Centra Door North. During those years, he learned to install, diagnose problems and make repairs to rolling steel doors, poly-doors, residential and commercial doors. He also learned how to customize doors to fit odd or non-standard openings and ceilings. John started his own business in 1999 and began building custom doors at that time.
