We have been going to this restaurant as a family, once or twice a month for the last 4 years. The food is always fresh. The service always friendly, personable and excellent. The menu is as varied as you want to see. We have entertained numerous visiting friends and relatives from different parts of the world at this restaurant. They have all been impressed and still inquire about it to this day. We recommend the Beef tenderloin, the Shrimp & the Chicken Kara-age and the Softshell Crab in addition to the normal Sushi/Japanese Fare!!
I first tried sushi in Toronto. It is hard to find a restaurant in Niagara that compares to the food service and price you receive in a bigger city. The food and service is very comparable to what you might expect in Toronto although the price is definitely higher. I always order a Yukiguni Box, you get tempura, teriyaki chicken, rice, soup, salad, sushi rolls, and qyoza. It is delicious! I pay around 23$ for the same meal in Toronto would be 15$ but you would also have to drive all that way! :) Yukiguni has THE BEST sushi in Niagara!! I recommend them to all my friends!... and you too! :)
The food was great!!! I really dont like Sushi..but my friends love it....and they were very very happy with their meals... I had the Teriyake chicken and Termpura assortment ...delicious ...with the rice...also really good... This is a great place for sushi lovers and non sushi lovers alike... The server was very friendly/patient....and it was clean....
I'm a regular customer there and I always order the sushi lunch or the "Matsu". This is a great place to go for sushi, and I usually go to St. Catharines. If I want some here, I go to Yukiguni. It's great
we were seated immediatly and greeted with a warm smile. my wife and I love to go for sushi so we can easily compare place to place. been here a few times, on our last visit though our sushi was almost warm. ? I think they must have just made the rice and didn't let it cool enough. It made our sushi squishy and not so fresh tasting. It is always made fresh and looks like art! All in all, we will definately return. It's a comfortable atmosphere and we are always treated respectfully.
Great Place to come and enjoy a meal in Quite, Clean , Authentic Japanese Setting, With Beautiful Japanese Music. The Food is even a step up , Always Tasting Nice and Fresh, Great Presentation, Taste and Texture. The service is Friendly, Fast and Elegant at the same time. They Do have the hard to get items on their menu most of the time, which is not always possible here in this area. Great Effort is put into making your experience Unforgettable. Try them and you will NOT be dissappointed.
This place is a guarantee for excellent food and service. My mom and I come here often, I decided to bring our boyfriends for her birthday, in which my boyfriend doesnt like fish and her boyfriend is just being introduced to the world of sushi. Needless to say they both enjoyed their meal. Great variety and even appropriate for those who are not adventurous to try sushi. The environment is always calming and comfortable. I would reccomend this place to anyone!
This place is a hidden gem! I have been three times to sit-in, and take-out once. The Matsu I ordered was awesome. You get more Rolls, I think you get 17pc's in total. Highly recommend it to any Japanese food lovers. Even if you don't enjoy sushi plenty of options on the menu. For any first timer's out there, go to this place. You will definitely get excellent quality sushi, and the best Miso Soup! I easily eat about $40 to $50 worth of Sushi each time I go without complaining. Working my way through the menu.
Excellent food! Kiku rolls are great...8 pieces of California, tuna, salmon, and eel & avocado rolls, comes with miso soup & salad...all delicious. Best sushi I've had in the Niagara Region. Great service, went there for my wedding reception and they even gave my wife her sushi on a special platter shaped like a heart. They also changed the music for me once when I went there for my first anniversary...Where else can you get service like that? Two orders of Kiku rolls comes out to about $40, but I can't resist tipping big so it does get a little more expensive for me, but it is definitely worth it.
This is a place I always make a point of frequently visiting. The lunch specials are an excellent value for the money. I had the sashami lunch, which included salad, miso soup. Lunch for 2 came to $23 after tax. The food is very tasty, and their Sushi is very well prepared. Staff is always happy and friendly. It's a shame that this restaurant always is so empty.
Great food... even if you don't like sushi you should still check it out as they have plenty of options
This restaurant is great. I only wish more people would know about it. The sushi is honestly the best I have tried. California roll is the best I have tried, honestly. Plus, the prices are great, best at lunch specials. The drive is definitley worth it.
An excellent Japanese restaurant minutes from the Peace Bridge. Highly recommended !
I love it here and the food is amazing! I like how they have a different menu than the Yukiguni in Niagara Falls. The places around the place is a nice nieghbourhood it's actually a pretty easy place to find, riht off the highway, I went for my birthday andit was great! I love japanese food!( i am japanese....haha) Yeah, their food quiality is very good as well.
Had read many reviews of this place. It has a sister retaurant in Niagara Falls. I preferred this one much more. The staff were friendly, they gave us enough time to eat between each item without having to scarf it down. The food was absolutely delicious. The chef mastered the tempura, which was not greasy at all. Salmon teriyaki and bento box were yummy. Salmon teriyaki was served with mushrooms and broccoli, instead of the normal bean sprouts I look forward to, but it was delicious. The place looks a bit more canadian than other sushi bars I have been to, with some bamboo here and there. If anything I would maybe add a bit more of a Japanese flair. I would definitely reccomend this restaurant.
The Hibachi Beef was great! Although I almost started a fire and burned the place down! haha In any event, the prices are not bad and the food is great! The service is great too although there were not a whole lot of prople in there. The Ginger Dressing is amazing and the place is really clean!
This place has a wonderful atmosphere, to sit down and enjoy a good meal.
Best Sushi I have ever ate. I recomend this Japanese restaurant to everyone I know, not just for sushi, but because of quality. If you stop in make sure you have a piece of green tea cheese cake for desert, simple delicious.
