I love this restaurant as well. It?s a family restaurant with great food and portions and offers both a child?s menu and a seniors menu. The menu selection seems ominous in the beginning so big, so many options, it is really hard to decide on one item. The authentic Greek food is very tasty and the Prime Rib equal to any I have had in a more costly restaurants. I enjoy how clean the restaurant is! Great family restaurant operated by a very nice and friendly family.
The Gorge Country Kitchen is Elora's emotional center. The food, if uninspiring, is well-done family-restaurant fare (served in joyously massive portions). Service can be understandably frazzled when this large and understaffed restaurant is packed over dinner, but at off-hours is friendly and personal. Most of all, though, what strikes one about the Gorge Country Kitchen is the intangible quality it has of just being "right". One feels at home in this place, whether you're a local or a visitor, and that's a hard ambience to create. Kudos.

I have ate here for years now too. The meals are good and are reasonably priced. The service I find sometimes is lacking. It is decorated nice and kept very clean. The only real big problem here for me is Flies. Obviously not in the winter but come summertime watch out. It is really bad.
