TL;DR. An awful experience. Lots promised, nothing delivered.
1. Sold on a one day job, but we are now on the third visit to get the install done. Why? Because (1) they don't bring all the right people to finish the job and (2) they don't do proper quality control before leaving, so they are fine to leave with defective units.
2. They charged our credit card a huge amount without asking for authorization. Could have gotten us fined or credit score dinged.
AWFUL experience and company.
Our furnace broke in the middle of the night on CHRISTMAS and Brendan took the call at 1am. Vince came out to do the repairs in the morning and he was friendly, patient and reassuring. He clearly set out the expectations, pricing and committed to doing his best to get us up and running. Vince diagnosed the problem quickly and completed the repair on site. I had placed a service call when my air conditioner stopped working. I was able to get a technician come fix my air conditioner within a couple of hours. I found the technician to be friendly and knowledgeable, price is also very reasonable. I will definitely use Dr.HVAC again.
Our thermostat was broken and I called them on a Monday morning and a service man was there in the afternoon. He was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. After installing the thermostat, he tested the system and checked the furnace and AC to ensure that everything was operating properly. He spent 15 minutes walking me through the controls and recommending temperatures for various times throughout the day. I was a satisfied customer!
Dr. hvac is wonderful. They came shortly after I called with a broken furnace and they figured it out promptly. They were surprisingly inexpensive, and were able to explain to me what was wrong so I could understand it. I highly recommend them!

Steve is more than competent, hard working and HONEST. We were referred to Dr. HVAC by my father. He has serviced their A/Cs for several years. In 2009 we had been told by another HVAC company that our heater was leaking gas. They recommended we replace the entire unit ($2000). On the advice of my father, I contacted Dr. HVAC for a second opinion. They sent out Steve who found NO gas leak, serviced our heating system and has regularly serviced our a/c and heater ever since. Their rates are fair and we completely trust them!

I used Dr. hvac to check up on my A/C unit. I knew that it had been a long time since the system was looked at and suspected something was wrong (air not blowing cool enough). A technician arrived within 15 minutes of the schedule appointment and was very fast at isolating the problem. He fixed a coil line which was leaking and performed a general maintenance check on my two units. The tech was friendly and professional. He was done within 40 mins and the price was quoted accurately. Dr. hvac did a great job and I would recommend them.

Originally I was worried about having to replace my furnace because of in the past I haven’t had much luck dealing with contractors. I am so happy I had my furnace installed by Dr. hvac. It restored my faith in old fashioned customer service. They treated me with respect, and addressed my concerns. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with this company.
