No mask being worn by the cook. Utterly disgusting in these days and times...

The restaurant stinks, inside and out. Have had to come home take shower & shampoo, because the smell has permeated all my clothes and hair. Worse meal I;ve had in Vancouver.Absolutely!!!4 scallops, cut in half horizontally, on skewers, $19.00!!! HUge ripoff!!

Must-try fish and chips in Vancouver

Must-try fish and chips in Vancouver

The cozy Fish Café is a favourite spot for residents of Kerrisdale and, though serving a variety of seafood for lunch and dinner, the snapper fish and chips is one of the most popular menu picks. If you don’t care too much for tartar sauce, the garlic butter sauce is a nice replacement and has received rave reviews from customers all over the city.

Deliciously deep-fried fish & chips in Vancouver

Deliciously deep-fried fish & chips in Vancouver

Kerrisdale’s Fish Café has been a neighbourhood stalwart for years. With nothing but fresh, sustainable seafood on the menu (with some salads to round it out), it’s easy to see why. Their two-piece fish and chips — either halibut or salmon — comes golden and crisp on a newspaper-lined tray and is served with perfectly fried chips, chunky tartar sauce, lemon wedges and vinegar. Take in the homey atmosphere and the friendly service of this family-owned restaurant while you dig into this classic seaside platter.
