“I’m a naturalist, a vegetarian and an animal lover,” says Dr. Joseph Martinez, owner of Little Paws Animal Clinic in Steveston. “I grew up on a farm with a deep connection to the animals, and I knew from childhood that I wanted to work with animals.”
With a passion for nature and animals, Dr. Martinez has dedicated his life to helping pets in need with the most comprehensive, holistic approach possible, leaving no stone unturned to better treat sick and injured animals.
“I keep my mind busy all the time, searching, studying and developing new techniques, going to continuing education and courses to keep a high standard of care,” Dr. Martinez says. “I dedicate a lot of my free time to patients, give my clients my personal phone number.
