Don't Recommend
I don't recommend you use Silk Holidays service. If you need to cancel your trip for any unexpected reason they will pocket 100% of your funds. I lost 16k to them from an unexpected sporting accident that lead to a postponed honeymoon. We were unable to get any credits, rebook at a later date, or let someone else take our trip. Essentially Silk just pocketed the funds. If you book the same trip via one of the many online travel sites (probably for less), you will have flight and vacation credits (that all airlines and hotels provide) should something go wrong. A few additional facts of interest in our Silk Holidays experience – we needed visas for travel which they told us about 3 weeks before we were to travel. We had booked the trip 4 months earlier. They also made an typo error on my Wife’s airline ticket and at the same time as requesting the visas, Silk requested that we change her passport (to a non legal name) to match the tickets. A shocking request. After pushing back they reluctantly fixed the typo (which I’m sure was not a lot of work). IMO there are way too many travel options available to be bothered using Silk Holidays. Go with a more reputable organization.
