At FlyOver Canada you will spend approximately 30 minutes getting introduced to our great country. You will first enter the preshow area where you will be immersed in an audio-visual show of Canada 'up close and personal' before heading to the boarding zone for your preflight briefing.
Swoop over the Rocky Mountains and fly to Tofino where the smell of the ocean — and accompanying mist — envelops you. Along the way, visit farmers in the prairies, the Rouge River in Quebec and Toronto’s iconic skyline while dipping and swerving in your chair. It’s a mesmerizing journey that all FlyOver Canada riders experience.
A flight simulation that explores Canada’s greatest sites, FlyOver Canada is the longest ride of its kind in the world. At eight minutes, it’s almost twice as long as the four other offerings in Disneyland and China, making it a once-in-a-lifetime journey for Vancouverites and visitors alike. Set in a 20-metre spherical theatre at Canada Place, the ride accommodates 60 people for take-off every 15-20 minutes throughout the day, 364 days a year. In 2013, the first year of opening, more than 450,000 visitors buckled up.
Riders enjoy pre-entertainment during the pre-show and at the “boarding gate” before entering the flight deck for take-off. Here, in rows of comfortable, armchair seats, the ride begins. Every seat moves according to its own unique motion profile. This, combined with point-of-view footage that wraps the entire screen, makes FlyOver Canada a wholly immersive experience.
