For Christine Visnjak, her original career plan did not include owning Muse Social Fashion House. In fact, she was in school preparing to take the LSAT, an integral part of the law school admission process. Christine realized that while she loved law, she was too creative to sit behind a desk every day — a revelation that altered her educational path; instead, she went on to study fashion.
Living in South Surrey, Christine found herself driving into Vancouver to get the basic classics and on-trend styles. She thought that other women must have been experiencing the same issues and saw it as an opportunity; she opened Muse Social Fashion House in South Surrey's Shops at Morgan Crossing.
"I submerged myself in the fashion world," admits Christine. "It was October 2010, and the timing was perfect; I was ready to be my own boss."
